PERSONAL AND PROFESSIONAL COACHING
Certification Training
A 12-month, 140-hour coaching program

Richard Michaels, Virginia Kellogg, Master Certified Coaches, and Associates

Coaching is one of the most rapidly growing professions in America today. Coaches support their client’s potential for innovative thinking, effective action, and goal fulfillment. Our holistic approach to professional coaching training combines awareness of body, mind, and spirit with substantive coaching skills.

A coach helps clients connect to their inner wisdom and full aliveness. While psychotherapy is primarily healing-focused, coaching is learning and action-oriented. The coaching process moves people towards the fulfillment of their life purpose, visions, and goals. In this training, participants will master the skills to begin their own successful coaching practice or integrate coaching skills into their current work.

If you have a deep desire to help people trust themselves, create from their spiritual core, manifest their vision, and fulfill their goals, this program will provide the necessary tools and experience. If you want to start a successful coaching business, you will learn the skills needed to start a thriving practice.
Whether you’re a coach, teacher, consultant, social worker, nurse, manager, or any other leader, you can use this program to help people create a better future. Therapists, in particular, increasingly find coaching tools a valuable complement to their practice.

Components of the Program
Unlike many coaching trainings, over half of this program is delivered live in the classroom. The remaining sessions are telephone based for your convenience.

The 12-month training includes:

  • 12 one-day classroom training sessions
  • 34 ninety-minute tele-classes (training sessions held on the phone)
  • 12 hours Peer coaching
  • 12 hours Coaching practicum skills application in the non-profit sector
  • Individual feedback on coaching skills
  • Coaching competencies demonstration and final evaluation
  • Upon successful completion of this training, participants will receive a certificate for 140 hours of study. These training hours will exceed the 125 hours of coaching skills training required to apply for the International Coach Federation (ICF) coaching credential.

This training has filled quickly in the past so register early to secure your space.
