Is your organization focused on asset building? See how Igniting Change in Nonprofits can boost the effectiveness of your program. We integrate exercises about financial attitudes and values into our Igniting Change in Nonprofits program. Additional content-specific financial coaching components provide the basic information, coaching skills, and resources to manage a successful financial coaching program.

Understanding personal financial management is important to everyone, but especially those with limited resources. Low and moderate income households need access to reliable information and financial products and services to manage their financial lives. Community-based agency staff, armed with a deeper understanding of finances, are well positioned to help individuals and families develop positive attitudes about money, learn money management skills, and empower them to take actions to put them on the path to financial asset building. Adding coaching skills to this toolkit gives staff the ability to help clients set financial goals and plans, develop budgets, track spending, or improve credit.
