As a coach, Liza is dedicated to connecting clients to their bodily intelligence and self-compassion, as a way to awaken organic growth and change. Liza worked as a professional actor, founded and ran a theater company, and juggled many a side hustle in NYC before being drawn to coaching.
As a coach, she relies on the empathy, deep listening, imagination, and playfulness she has cultivated as an actor. Her experience as a spoken voice teacher gives her a unique ability to help clients tune-in to their bodily intuition and wisdom, unlocking possibilities, perspectives, and solutions not previously visible to them. Motherhood crystallized the importance of self-compassion for Liza, and she has become a spokeswoman for the freedom that can be found in healing from perfectionism.
Liza has a private coaching practice, Imperfectly, offers private coaching and teaches the Path course with Capes Coaching, and teaches spoken voice as a Visiting Artist in Residence at Bard College. Liza received her Coaching Certification from Coaching for Transformation, and her MFA from the Harvard/ART/MXAT Institute for Advanced Theater Studies.
