I started my career as an IT professional working as a consultant and operator in the healthcare industry. I got the startup bug in the late 1990s and have been there ever since. I have been in technology leadership roles in some of the most successful tech companies of our day (Akamai, VMware, DigitalOcean), have invested in and advised hundreds of startups across just about every industry vertical, sit on boards and run a non-profit organization Good For Her to support women founders.
Most recently, I was a Senior Lecturer at Harvard Business School (HBS). I taught Product Management and was the faculty lead of Startup Bootcamp. In 2020, with a desire to focus more of my time on my coaching practice, I transitioned to the role of Executive Fellow at HBS in the Rock Center for Entrepreneurship.
Coaching entrepreneurs through their startup journeys brings me joy. There is nothing more energizing than helping people realize their dreams and become true to themselves.
