Our vision is for every individual, organization and community to have access to transformational coaches and facilitators. Leadership that Works (LTW) is committed to offering training to as many people as possible, expanding the ripple effect of transformation in the world.
Want to join an LTW program, but wondering how you can pay for it?
You have options!
You can fundraise with courage, creativity and authenticity… instead of worries, doubts and fears. You can find extensive resources online, to support you to raise what you need.
9 Ways to Raise the Money you Need:
Crowdfunding is a way to raise money from your friends, family, networks and supporters. A crowdfunding page can be better than simply having a “donate” button or accepting cash because people can read your story or see your video, and get excited about your passion. They can also see how much progress you’ve made toward your goal.
Check out our Crowdfunding Resource Guide.
2. INSTALLMENT PLAN
LTW offers an installment plan with 5 monthly payments for the Coaching for Transformation Programs.
3. PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT FUNDS
Many employers offer professional development funds.
4. OFFER PROFESSIONAL COACHING AT WORK
You could make a deal with your employer to provide X hours of coaching to staff in exchange for financial support. One student convinced her organization to make her an official coach on staff to provide coaching regularly.
5. PERSONAL COACHING PAID IN ADVANCE
Ask people in your network to pay for coaching in advance. They get to support you by paying your tuition and in exchange, you give them coaching.
6. CREDIT CARD
You can get a low-interest credit card to pay for your tuition.
7. LOAN FROM FAMILY, FRIENDS OR BANK
You could apply for a low-interest loan.
Many foundations offer educational grants.
Apply for an LTW scholarship. A limited number of partial scholarships are available for selected courses.
Scholarship funds are awarded based on financial need, potential to reach under-resourced communities, and your potential impact. Many people from developing nations and under-resourced communities need access to coaching. So please consider thoughtfully your request for financial support, and ask only for what you need.
Download a Coaching for Transformation scholarship application or a Community Coaching Certification scholarship application and forward your completed application to our scholarship committee.
