Creating Transformations with Coaching and Nonviolent Communication
by Pernille Plantener

Five years ago, I started down the Coaching for Transformation path. It was at a Nonviolent Communication (NVC) training where I met Martha Lasley, and was so impressed with her humble and honest approach, that I knew I wanted to have what she had. One year later, I started the Coaching for Transformation certification program.

Coaching Through Life's Natural Changes
By Jen Frank

Throughout our clients’ lives, they will have to face changes. Sometimes these changes will be ones they choose; other times, the changes that happen will be outside of their control. Either way, change is tough—even for “happy” events like graduating college, getting married or having children. The accompanying internal transitions can be even harder. This is where we, as coaches, can help our clients move through the ending that’s occurring, navigate the in-between neutral stage, and move on to a new beginning.

Coaching in Communities

Leadership that Works Builds Momentum with Los Angeles Community Organizations
by Meghan Ondrish

Exciting things are happening in the Los Angeles area, as the Leadership that Works team embarks on bringing coaching skills to the social justice and non-profit sector. “We are working to train people in grass-roots, community organizations to ‘upgrade their operating systems’ by using coaching skills in their daily operations,” says LTW faculty member Damon Azali-Rojas.

Experiencing the Spirit of Deep Connect: Coaching for Transformation Graduate Community in India
By Rashmi Dixit

What connects us? What binds us? What is it that holds the clouds in the sky? Why is it that, even, when no one is around, I still hear a caressing sound?

When I joined Coaching for Transformation (CFT), India, I was taken aback by the space of care that was created by this community. I experienced being welcomed and accepted in my being by the group.

Words of Wisdom

Each January, we are prompted to make resolutions for the year ahead. To resolve, is defined as coming to a firm decision about something or finding a solution to a problem. Here’s some inspiring thoughts to help guide you through resolutions you’ll face in 2015.

Your success and happiness lies in you. Resolve to keep happy, and your joy and you shall form an invincible host against difficulties. —Helen Keller

Let our New Year's resolution be this: we will be there for one another as fellow members of humanity, in the finest sense of the word. —Goran Persson

Those who gave thee a body, furnished it with weakness; but He who gave thee Soul, armed thee with resolution. Employ it, and thou art wise; be wise and thou art happy. —Akhenaton
