Kathleen Moore, ACC
“When I was first introduced to coaching I immediately envisioned the shift that could happen in schools if educators, parents and students were introduced to coaching tools. I imagine the deeper listening and co-creation of the future that can happen. Coupled with a lens on equity, this vision is beginning to unfold in my community and more is feeling possible every day!”
Kathleen was first introduced to coaching when she began working as a family coach at an early childhood program in her community – the entire staff was trained by Leadership that Works in order to create a coaching model for service delivery.
Since becoming a professional coach, Kathleen has worked with teens as well as people approaching retirement. She has also participated in deep learning about equity and inclusion. “I enjoy working with people who are looking for clarity in the complexity of life whether it is their personal life or the life of an organization or community.” ”
As president of a local school board, Kathleen relies on her coaching and equity skills to listen for what people really want so that the district is responsive to the needs of all community members. .
Kathleen became a certified coach through Leadership that Works’ Coaching for Transformation program. She is also a graduate of Coaching for Community Transformation. She holds a Bachelors of Arts in Economics from Kalamazoo College. In her free time she likes to spend time with family, walk, read, camp, travel, garden, and be of service to others.
