What Our Graduates are Saying
I was blown away by the vulnerability, caring, and generosity of the instructors. I wanted that authenticity. They opened up a whole new world for me. Life changing. Worth every penny and more. —Sarah Lightfoot
The CFT program was the most challenging, uplifting and life-changing experience that I have ever had. —Rowena Zabrodsky
The supportive community and experiential focus was so valuable. There’s nothing better than learning by doing. —Sharon Taub
We are building the capacity for all people to live more whole and vibrant lives. That’s powerful. —Michael Wise
I got five paying clients during the program, all of whom are still working with me for longer than their original three month commitment. —Stephanie Lazzara
I loved getting to work with seasoned coaches who have a social justice lens, which is so rare in the coaching field. CFT gave me tools to support the unique needs of activists and helped me accomplish some huge goals. Even better, it’s having a ripple effect on some really powerful social justice movements. —Manish Vaidya
My life has changed in a profound way because I am practicing authenticity and vulnerability. Other coaching programs don’t work with diversity and inclusion, which I found useful as a white male. The work we did helps me connect with a broader spectrum of people at a deeper level. —Eric Couillard
The work on diversity, power, and privilege was central. The instructors created a safe space for me, as a Chicana, to release the painful experiences of sexism and racism. I could safely tell my truth about how microagressions regarding race impact me. That was the most powerful part of the course. —Maria Loya
The best part of CFT was the bond that formed between me and many of my classmates. I gained some wonderful new family members and a fabulous business partner, too! —Cindy Gordon

Cultural respect – You will explore the dynamics of power and privilege, build capacity to engage across cultures and support awareness of the need for systemic change. Our faculty is committed to the respect and lifelong learning about different cultures and nationalities and shifting the demographics of the coaching profession by making coaching not only more accessible but more welcoming. In the Coaching for Transformation program, you’ll be diving into uncharted depths to help clients break through limiting beliefs, tap the wisdom of their bodies, identify their emotions and understand their needs. From that grounded, centered place of deep awareness, clients can develop strategies and take actions that honor their values and drive social change.
Supportive learning community – As a student you won’t be stuck on an island with a “how to” manual. In fact, you’ll interact with the same peers for the duration of the course—creating trusting, lasting relationships as you collectively celebrate successes and support each other’s development as coaches.
Business development – What good is it to become a certified coach if you don’t have clients?
