Meet the Coaching for Transformation Omega Faculty

Experience a virtual taste of Coaching for Transformation: A Women’s Cohort.

You'll get to meet the Coaching for Transformation (CFT) faculty and learn what makes CFT: A Women’s Cohort, sponsored by the Omega Women’s Leadership Center, unique among coach training programs.

Join CFT Omega faculty Sharon Brown and Kathy Grosso for an introduction to the CFT process and immerse yourself in 90-minutes of transformational conversation about our 10-month coaching program, which begins in June 2020. Can’t make it to the live event? Register and we’ll share the recording with you.

If you are unable to join this Omega-specific webinar, join us for a Power of Coaching webinar where you will learn more about coach training opportunities with Leadership that Works.

What's Unique About CFT at Omega

    Hidden Villa Hostel

Located in the heart of the beautiful Hudson Valley region, Omega Institute is known for its natural beauty, welcoming community, spiritual inspiration, and commitment to holistic approaches. For more than 35 years, Omega has been a place to explore the extraordinary potential that exists in all of us as individuals and together as a human family.

In this unique learning environment, along with your in-depth coaching training, you will find plenty of opportunities for meditation, yoga, swimming, boating, hiking trails, and gathering with new friends to enjoy inspiring conversation over delicious, healthy meals. Training as a coach in Omega’s inspiring retreat setting offers you the unique opportunity to get to know the faculty and other students deeply, while also having time to yourself to relax and explore the beautiful 250-acre campus.

Can you envision coaching people from diverse communities to manifest their vision and goals? As a coach, you’ll support cultural awareness and help clients access their inner wisdom and creativity. Using a holistic approach, you'll learn to integrate body, mind, and spirit to empower people to be the change they want to see in the world.

This vibrant learning community attracts change agents, including:

    • Health care providers and healers
    • Social workers, therapists, counselors
    • Business owners, managers, and leaders from all sectors
    • Organization development consultants and human resources professionals
    • Educators, trainers, and facilitators

Regardless of your field, your coaching skills will help people create a better future. You can use this CFT program to become a professional coach or to enhance your current career.

This in-depth professional certification is even for who are already involved in coaching. If you are an empathic listener who truly enjoys supporting people, you are already impacting the people around you. Coaching for Transformation takes you even deeper. You’ll work with many processes and hone your skills so you have the confidence to face the toughest challenges.

If you are committed to leadership, social change, and human evolution, this training will expand your effectiveness. After graduating you will continue to draw from a community of diverse coaches for mutual support.

    Training Team

Kathy Grosso, ACC, has created a coaching path that is built on a desire to embed coaching in communities and organizations. “Making coaching skills available and accessible to as many individuals and organizations excites me and grounds me in my desire to work within and for community.”

Sharon Brown, PCC draws on years of corporate experience to train and teach coaching skills in workplace, school and community settings that enhance communication and collaboration, as well as catalyze transformation and action. Sharon’s commitment to serving communities and their residents spills over into her personal life where she co-leads a women’s circle at a homeless shelter, is an Alternatives to Violence Project lead prison workshop facilitator, and served on non-profit boards focused on community development and collaborative communication.
