Steven Filante, PCC
“Work is the fun I get paid for. I have such fun coaching and training coaches. Being able to create connection, depth and intimacy makes my heart happy. I get excited, exuberant and playful creating transformation and community. I love that my job is inviting and encouraging people to uncover their amazing selves and express them fully.”
Steven Filante entered the coaching profession in 1999 after completing a coaching course as a requirement for a leadership program. “In that course, I stepped into my commitment to wake people up to their magnificence and their power.”
Always open to new modalities and possibilities, Steven challenges and invites his learners to include every piece of their experience and being and bring these to coaching. He naturally creates space where energy is heightened and ideas flow freely, a trademark of Fire in the Heart, an advanced coach-training course he designed and delivers.
In addition to coach training, Steven coaches politicians, thought leaders and small business owners who need an ally to translate their vision of change into the world. “My work helps successful, effective people cut through the things that slow them down. They get clear about who they are and what they want to create. They get out of their own way. They bring all their talents and resources together to make what previously looked impossible start happening.”
Steven holds a BA in economics from San Francisco State University. He loves the outdoors and strengthens his connection to the earth through walking his two dogs, kayaking, bicycling, whitewater rafting and bird watching.
